Dr. Bob Wilson, DMD, FICOI

Dr. Bob Wilson, DMD, FICOI, brings a wealth of experience and a passion for dental care to his practice in the Bellevue area of Nashville, TN. A native of Georgia, Dr. Wilson earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Georgia before completing his Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia. During his time at MCG, he served as co-chief resident, teaching first-year residents hands-on surgical dental implant placement, surgical techniques, and conscious IV sedation protocols. He also earned his fellowship in dental implantology while completing residencies in Advanced Education in General Dentistry and a hospital-based General Practice Residency. Before moving to Nashville, he worked at Mobley Family Dentistry in Athens, GA for seven years as an associate. While in Athens, he was also a part-time faculty member at MCG where he would return to mentor and teach current AEGD and GPR residents.

Dr. Wilson is dedicated to serving the greater West Nashville community with the highest quality of care. He strives to create a welcoming dental environment where patients feel at home, like they are visiting friends and family, rather than making a trip to the dentist. His approach to dentistry emphasizes education and excellence, where he empowers patients to discover ways to achieve and maintain optimal oral health and a confidence-boosting smile. With extensive training in dental implants, IV conscious sedation, wisdom teeth extractions, esthetic dentistry, implant-supported dentures, and Invisalign, Dr. Wilson provides comprehensive dental treatment for patients of all backgrounds and walks of life.

Outside of work, Dr. Wilson, as an eagle scout and avid outdoorsman, enjoys exploring the natural beauty of Nashville and surrounding areas through hiking, fishing, hunting, vegetable gardening, water skiing, and volunteering with the Friends of Warner Parks. He and his wife Anne Walker, a native Nashvillian, attend West End United Methodist Church. He enjoys spending time in the Edwin and Percy Warner Parks with Anne Walker and their Boykin Spaniel, Henry. Dr. Wilson enjoys a variety of music and even plays his patient's favorite musicians during their appointments. His personal motto, "Focus on the quality, and the quantity will follow," reflects his commitment to providing exceptional care for all his patients. Dr. Wilson hopes to be a comprehensive family dentist who treats generations of families.
